Architecture and integration
From concept to connection
For data to actually be deleted and access requests to be answered in full, your applications have to work together. We plan the architecture with your IT team and connect your applications to Espresso – all the way to go-live.
Approach
- 1
Starting point
How your applications are set up and what they can already do today.
- 2
Architecture
Who deletes what and when, and which applications are part of an access request.
- 3
Connection
The applications are connected – step by step, one after another.
- 4
Testing and go-live
Tests with test data, go-live and handover to your operations team.
Who builds the connection
For each application, you choose how we work together.
Your development team
Your developers implement it; we support with the concept, reviews and joint testing.
Your vendor
The application vendor implements it; we coordinate with them on your behalf.
Us
We build the connection and hand it over to your operations team with documentation.

Frequently asked questions about architecture and integration
Do we have to change our applications?
Only to the extent needed to connect them to Espresso. The business logic stays unchanged; existing deletion and query functions are reused.
Who is responsible for the applications?
Responsibility for your applications and their operation remains with you or your vendor – even if we build the connection.
Does this also work for data subject access requests?
Yes. With Subject Request, we also connect the same applications for access requests; each application is analysed only once.
How do we get started?
With a 30-minute demo. Afterwards, we will work out together which step is right for you.
