Espresso Data Privacy is developed by Yoosana GmbH in Zug, a Swiss software company focused on data protection and on processes that span many systems. What drives us: implementing data protection obligations so that they take effect in every system – and can be proven at any time.
Why Espresso exists
Many organisations have registers, policies and data deletion concepts. What is missing is implementation: data sits in legacy systems, deadlines are postponed, and when internal audit asks for evidence, the search begins.
Espresso tackles the most difficult task: deleting personal data across many systems – in the right order, with approvals and with proof. Espresso has been in production since 2024; its reference is Pax, the Swiss pension insurer, which uses it to delete across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Today Espresso brings together six modules in one cockpit: find and record personal data, answer requests, delete, control AI data and share data safely. Each module can be licensed individually – together they provide a complete picture of all of an organisation's data protection obligations.

Founder and Managing Director, Product and Technology
Rico Friedrich founded Yoosana GmbH and conceived Espresso Data Privacy. He is responsible for product and technology and has been working in data protection for large, legacy IT landscapes since 2017.
Espresso emerged from years of project work at large enterprises: analysis, solution design and integration. The result is an approach that automates data protection processes and deletions across the enterprise – continuously in the background, with little effort for configuration and operation.
We deliver implementation, consulting and integration with a team of experienced specialists – on site with you or remotely.
